Western New Brunswick: Marc Doiron

At the age of 14, while attending youth camp at Camp Evangeline, Marc felt God calling him into full-time ministry. He is a graduate of Christ For the Nations Institute and has furthered his education through correspondence at Global University.

In the summer of 1990, Marc married Debbie, the love of his life, and after five years of marriage were blessed with their daughter, Caitlyn. They began pastoral ministry in September of 1994 in Bible Hill, NS where he served for a year and a half as associate pastor with emphasis on youth and children. In 1996 they moved back to their home province of PEI and took on the senior pastor position in Montague Pentecostal Assembly, where he ministered for 12 years.

Currently he is pastoring Evangel Pentecostal Assembly in Hartland, NB. Marc has a passion to preach the Word. This passion is fueled by the strong desire to see the church grow in their understanding and their love for the Word of God.

Northeast New Brunwsick: Carolle Fournier

Carolle Fournier was saved 31 years ago while in her first year of university. Since then, God has brought her through an amazing journey and done even more than she could have imagined. Carolle and her husband Mario have been married for 21 years and have a son, Samuel, who will be attending his second year of university this fall.

Carolle graduated from Collège Biblique Bérée in Montreal in 1986 and immediately following graduation, was part of the ministry team that established Defi Jeunesse Québec (the first French Teen Challenge in Canada). She has served as a youth leader in different churches: Nash Creek, Beresford, Pokemoand Shediac, and also as a worship leader in some of the churches mentioned. After answering the call of Godbecome a pastor, and receiving credentials with the PAOC, she and her loving husband served in Shediac as assistant pastor from 1998 to 2002. Since 2003, they have been in Pokemouche NB, pastoring a French church on the Acadian Peninsula. They are seeing new believers come in and become disciples of Christ.

Southern New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island/Northwest Nova Scotia: Carman Webb

Carman accepted Christ as Saviour at the age of 5 after hearing a message on the cross. He was filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 10 at a “post service” Sunday night prayer time in the Truro church basement. From 1972- 1975, he attended Bible College at “Eastern” in Peterborough, Ont. Within a short time after graduation, he married Linda and immediately began ministry assisting Pastor Harold Reid in Truro, NS. Reflecting back from this present time, his ministry involves 36 plus years of both marriage and pastoral ministry, three children (David,Brian and Tanya) who are all married, seven grand children. Of the 36 years of pastoring 10+ have been in NB, 22 in NS and (early on) 4 years in Quebec.

In spite of the on-going challenges of pastoral ministry, he claims to enjoy it more than ever and looks forward to greater days ahead through God.

This verse has lately been his special prayer for all he has contact with- “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)

Western Nova Scotia: Bob Innes

Central Nova Scotia/Bermuda: Terry Penney

Eastern Nova Scotia: David Connolly

In 1966, at Camp Evangeline, I accepted the Lord as my personal Saviour in the last Sunday night service of camp. I still remember that night as clear as yesterday (we still had “sawdust trails” in the Tabernacle). From then, on my life has been one of service to Christ and His Church. By the time I moved to Halifax in 1969, I had been involved in youth leadership, children’s church, and the adult choir at Calvary Temple, my home church in New Glasgow.

I made Faith Tabernacle my church home in Halifax and continued to grow in the Lord and His service. During my second year at Faith, I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. In June of 1973 I married Becky, who came into Pentecost from a Baptist background, having received the Lord through a special crusade at her church. Even before we were married, we served together on the youth executive and various other ministries at Faith. We have two adult children, Andrew (1976) and Peter (1979).

I served the District in pulpit supply ministry for 26 years and ministered in 23 different pulpits, often going back to the same church numerous times through the years. We have enjoyed getting to know our District family, often meeting folks at Camp Evangeline that we have ministered to in their churches. In February, 2008 the Lord gave me the desire of my heart when He called me to pastor Indian Harbour Lake Pentecostal Church.
