October 21-23, 2019

Calvary Temple, 83 Sydney St., Saint John, NB

From Pastor Kevin

We are looking forward to being together for our Fall Conference on October 21-23, 2019 at Calvary Temple in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Our theme is MOVING!

The scriptural symbols for the Holy Spirit, the dove, wind and fire, have something in common I had never considered before. They do not stay in one place for very long. The dove may settle on a branch, the wind may quietly subside, and the fire may lightly crackle, but they will not stay put for long. The very essence of their being results in them MOVING!

Pentecostal, Spirit-filled people are meant to move. A fortress mentality is foreign to the New Testament church.  Their security was found in Christ, and they were meant to move, go, dispel the darkness, and display the mighty deeds of God. This is what I long for. This is what I pray for. This is what I believe the Holy Spirit wants to do among us, today!

With this in mind, we’ve invited Bill and Elaine Gibson to be our guest speakers this fall. Bill and Elaine have been MOVING under the Spirit’s leading for many years. They have seen God do some incredible things throughout their lives. They have been especially used to equip believers for Holy Spirit ministry. Bill comes with many years of experience having served as a pastor, college professor, and PAOC district superintendent. Recently, Bill shared some of his story in the Testimony/Equip magazine of how God led them into seeing the power of God at work through their lives and the local church.

Bill and Elaine both share in the teaching and demonstration of the Spirit’s ministry. I believe they will bring insightful and powerful ministry as they also equip us to move beyond our present experience and practice so we can grow in what the Holy Spirit wants to do in and through our lives today.

Come expecting that the Holy Spirit will do great things among us this October!

Annemarie and I are looking forward to seeing you there.

We’re better together,
