Financial Assistance

For Retired Credential Holders

Retired credential holders will receive complimentary registration and a $250 subsidy (per couple/single) to assist with travel and meal costs (local retirees will receive $100). After the conference, you may submit up to two nights' hotel receipts for reimbursement. Please forward your hotel receipt to dburns@maritimepaoc.org no later than Friday, November 14, 2025.

For Other Credential Holders (Non-Retired)

The District will provide up to $300 (per couple/single) to assist credential holders who would find it difficult to attend the Conference because of finances. Limited funds are available.

Requests for assistance should be sent to dburns@maritimepaoc.org no later than Friday, October 3.

Ministry Guests

Dr. Phil and Judy Bowler

Phil was born and raised in Kenya, the son of PAOC missionary parents. He is a skilled teacher and communicator and teaches at various Bible Colleges at the Diploma, Degree or Masters level.

Judy was born and raised in British Columbia and is a teacher by profession. They are currently Global Workers with PAOC and are the elder leaders in Guinea, West Africa.

Phil has his doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity school and is the regional education consultant for PAOC in West Africa. Judy works with developing evangelistic initiatives.

Both Judy and Phil have been active in healing and deliverance ministry in both Africa and Canada and have seen many healed and set free from demonic oppression.

Dr. Grant and Kathy Mullen

Dr. Grant Mullen is a retired mental health physician from Grimsby, ON, who, along with his wife Kathy, writes and teaches internationally on how medical treatment, deliverance, and the healing of our emotional wounds all work together to break the chains of emotional bondage.

Dr. Mullen started as a family doctor and anesthesiologist, but God led him into the field of mental and emotional health through the brokenness he witnessed in his mostly Christian patients. He operated a mental health clinic for over 25 years.

Grant and Kathy are elders at Lakemount Worship Centre where they have attended for 44 years. They are the authors of Emotionally Free, many teaching videos and an online personal healing program Free Your Mind.

Dr. William and Renée Sloos

William Sloos and his wife Renée have been serving in pastoral ministry for over 30 years.

Will holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. For the last 17 years, he has served as the Lead Pastor at Richmond Hill Pentecostal Church, a vibrant, urban, and multicultural church in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area.

In addition to pastoring, he teaches Pentecostal History at MCS-Horizon in Toronto and Vanguard College in Edmonton. He is also a frequent camp speaker, marriage enrichment conference speaker, and has served three terms as Presbyter for the Western Ontario District.

His vision is to raise up a generation of Christ-centred, biblically equipped, and Spirit-empowered leaders to serve in the local and global marketplace.

A block of rooms at Holiday Inn Express Moncton has been reserved for conference attendees. The cutoff date to reserve rooms at the following rates is September 22.

Breakout Sessions

On Tuesday, each of our ministry guests will present a breakout session. Each workshop will be offered twice, so attendees can attend two of the three breakouts of their choosing (one breaking during each timeslot).

Breakout Session #1

How to Have Impact in Praying for the Sick

This breakout, led by the Bowlers, focuses on ministering effectively to the sick or oppressed, using the five-step model for praying for the sick and the Soul Care approach with the 5-R’s for deliverance. It concludes with a practical Q&A, offering real-life application, discussion of challenges, and guidance for ministering with compassion and confidence.

Breakout Session #2

Part 1: Mental illness and demonization

Dr. Mullen will explain the interconnections between mental illness and demonization. Are all mental illnesses caused by demons? Where do invisible voices come from? How can you determine the origin of bizarre thoughts? How can you help?

Part 2: Inner healing prayer ministry in the local church

Kathy Mullen will explain the prayer ministry model of deliverance, inner healing and physical healing and how it’s being implemented at Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby, ON.

Breakout Session #3

How You Can Have a Deliverance Ministry in Your Church

During the Argentine revival in the late twentieth century, Pablo Bottari led one of the greatest deliverance ministries in Pentecostal history. William has studied Bottari’s deliverance ministry model and has applied Bottari’s methods in his own church. William Sloos will share these simple, biblical, and practical tips so that you can see people delivered from strongholds in your church, too!
