HEALTHY CHURCH

The Church exists for nothing else but to draw men into Christ, to make them little Christs. If they are not doing that, all the cathedrals, clergy, mission, sermons, even the Bible itself, are simply a waste of time... It is even doubtful, you know, whether the whole universe was created for any other purpose.

Ministry Guests

Adam Browett is passionate about helping pastors rediscover the hope that the gospel still changes lives and that every church (regardless of its size or setting) can become a place where people encounter Jesus.

Having not grown up in church, Adam has always been drawn to people who are far from God. His preaching is honest, relatable, and often laced with humour, helping people lower their guard while pointing them toward Jesus.

Over the past 20 years, Adam has served in full-time pastoral ministry across three PAOC districts, ministering in churches ranging from fewer than 40 people to multi-staff, multi-site churches of over 2,000. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Calvary Temple in downtown Winnipeg.

Since arriving at Calvary Temple in 2024, the church has celebrated more than 1,000 people making decisions to follow Jesus and over 250 baptisms… not as proof of a formula, but as a testimony that God is still moving in Canada and that He still delights in working through ordinary churches to reach people with the hope of Jesus.

Adam and his wife, Shandy, have four children and consider it a privilege to serve the local church together in Winnipeg.
