Information for Youth Leaders
Hey youth leaders - this section is especially for you. We've got some information about student ages, chaperones, forms, and some other FAQs.
Chaperones
Every group must provide appropriate chaperones to ensure student supervision throughout the event. Here are the requirements:

Age Requirement: Chaperones must be at least 21 years old.

Gender Requirement: Chaperones must match the gender of the teens they supervise.

Supervision Ratio: A maximum of seven teens per chaperone, of the same gender.

Approval: Chaperones must be officially approved volunteers from their local churches.

Chaperones must be registered with the same group as the students they are responsible for.
Designated chaperones are expected to supervise their students for the entire event.
Every chaperone must complete a Chaperone Declaration form. It can be downloaded here.
Student Age Policy
In order for any student to attend MYC, they must have begun the grade six school year (September start) and be at least 11 years old. Students who are over age 18 may not attend.
Student attendees must be chaperoned by an adult who is at least 21 years old. Attendees 21 years old or over must be District-approved chaperones or District-appointed staff.
